Amazing spot! Beautiful surroundings and a great swimming pool. The bell tent is a great glamping experience! Everything you need is taken care of. An equipped outdoor kitchen available if you want to cook. And a great restaurant with good food. Also a daily bread service, so convenient! The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
The lodge is beautiful, the staff friendly and so kind, and the services great, however the area is not properly fenced to keep out wild boar, and the back to basic camping site where I stayed is exposed. I did not appreciate being within a couple of metres of a wild boar with just a fine layer of tent nylon to protect myself and my children. The proprietor of the campsite needs to take the issue more seriously.
A marvelous place. The lodges were spacious, decorated with style and equipped for a luxurious camping stay. The staff is friendly, helpful and very. Our kids loved playing near the small river and the swimming pool. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tube with a remarkable view. The restaurant is a great place to lounge, have a drink or enjoy nice pasta! The surrounding is just breathtaking and excellent for short day trips. We will definitely return!
In general a great location if you like holidays off the beaten track. Calm, clean, natural. However, hospitality felt a bit cold hearted. 95% of the communication is done by an automated e-mail information-flood prior to your stay. The only real request we had before our stay wasn‘t answered per mail. (We had to arrive one day later than expected, since a thunderstorm caught us on our bike trip just before the stay). We hoped to get at least some kind of a refund for the night we missed, but that was answered with a simple „No“ at our check-out. This is of course their absolut right to do so, but left us leaving with the feeling of being „easy money“ instead of a welcomed guest.
Incredible place in the mountains! We were there just for one night with the camper van, but we definetely want to come back for longer. The bathrooms, showers and everything around the campsite is super clean. You are really immersed in nature. Super friendly dutch owners.
Lovely campsite in the quiet month of May, spacious and green. I was disappointed not to see any animals around, I guess because of the weather and time of year.
Nicky the owner is very nice, helpful and welcoming.
The restaurant/ bar area is very nice and cosy with good food and service.
The last day we had a staff truck next to us so had a lot of the staff hanging around there, standing it front of our tent chatting and walking on our pitch. I find this strange that people walk across in front of your tent when that’s your private pitch you have paid for, for your stay.
We didn’t get our original pitch (V5) because of the bad weather. I’m glad as that pitch is far from the sanitary block, not ideal if you need to pee in the night! Only 6 toilets and showers for the campsite, can’t imagine this is enough in high season though.
Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the weather, lovely campsite and area.
Dinner at the nearby Davys cafe is a must!
What a great place! After a few nights in Italy it was a pleasure to arrive at such a chill and beautiful area. Pool is perfectly cool and the river is so fresh and clean with big trout swimming around. Ice cream is delicious. Restaurant …
Hot showers, working toilets and a nice running river near our tent. Lots to do for the kids (quad riding, horses, dogs, tube races) and tranquility + Peroni/white wine for the adults. The owners are as lovely as their Border Collies. Very nice place for a good vacation.
